Fun side project to get a full compressor powered truck air-horn into a Tesla without making ANY modification to the car.

Based on several horror-stories on Reddit it did not seem like a good plan to tap into any of the onboard systems on a Tesla vehicle. This means no CAN-bus to control the air horn, no drilling holes for control wires and not even connecting to the onboard 12 volt low-voltage system.

The Tesla Drop In Air Horn is:

  • a drop in system that fits in a Model S frunk
  • Powered by a 12v Jump starter booster pack
  • Contolled via BLE APP
  • Features 2 full size truck air horns
  • 5L Air buffer and 10 bar compressor

Later revision also has:

  • Airlock hose connector so the compressor can be used to inflate tires
